The March 11-12 TVA-Kingston Fly Ash Release Environmental Research Symposium is an opportunity for researchers to share information and coordinate research about the environmental impacts of fly ash at the Kingston Fossil Plant in Roane County, Tennessee, following the December 2008 coal fly ash spill. The symposium agenda includes discussions of geochemistry, ecotoxicology, ecological studies, environmental risk assessments, a poster session, and breakout discussions.
